Love You

It's Ceal here to share with you a quick CAS valentines card I made using the Heart dies and the sentiment is  from The Bottom Of My Heart.
I ran my base through the cuttlebug using a border embossing folder and then added the rhinestone flourish, the heart die and the sentiment. All done in about 5 minutes.

New Beginnings

Hello! It's Monika here today, bringing you another of my 'signature' butterfly cards. I just can't get enough of the sweet butterflies from New Beginnings clear stamp set and the matching New Beginnings Butterfly Die set. They are so easy to work with.

NewBeginning-corrugatedbutterfly

This time, I stamped the smaller butterflies on the small panel, and die-cut the biggest out of corrugated paper. I also used some images from Vintage Postcard clear stamp set, another favorite of mine. They are perfect to fill in 'emty' spaces. Since I don't use designer papers, I often use these images to add some character to my paper.
I also like different textures... so I heat embossed one of the images from Long Stem Silhouettes clear stamp set with clear embossing powder. The banner was die-cut with the die from Pennants & More Die set.

NewBeginning-corrugatedbutterfly2

I've been trying out new embellishments on my cards, like Washi Tapes and Sequins. They are so popular, so I had to jump on the wagon and get some from my local craft store. Sometimes less is more, but sometimes, you just have to go for MORE!

The sketch came from SplitCoastStampers, SC421.

Thanks for stopping by,
Monika

Mini Kitty

Hi everyone!  It's Lori here with my guest designer post.  A big thanks again to Korin and Janette!!  I've had a ton of fun this month!!  For my final post I had to use this adorable kitten from the Mini Critters set.  I was digging through my dp and knew this paper from Cosmo Cricket, The Boyfriend would be perfect!!  All of the directions and arrows made me think of a kitten running around!  :)
I hope you enjoy!!

Hello, Jennie here with a CAS card to share using the stamp set Vintage Baby. The sketch idea came from the SCS CAS204 sketch challenge last week and LOVE how it could easily be changed to blue for a boy.

My Heart Skips a Beat

Hi everyone!  I hope that you have been well and avoiding the widespread flu that has been going around.  Unfortunately, it has hit me and my family.  The good news is that I seem to be getting better now.  So, I would like to share a card with you that I made about 2 weeks ago.

feature
I used the new Bottom of my Heart set along with the matching Heart Dies. I stamped several hearts and cut them along with a few others from dp out using the dies. I then layered them using foam tape and accented with rhinestones. I think that the heart set is my favorite from the January release, I keep using it lol. Although, all of the sets this month were really great.

Here is a peek at the inside of the card:

Birthday for a Cherished Friend

Hello, it's Bridget here today, to share a card I made for one of my oldest and dearest friends (well, not oldest by age, but you know what I mean!)
I've used a new favorite set, Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Long Stem Silhouettes and a fun sketch that Janette gave us for today's Sketch Challenge at Splitcoaststampers
I first cut the circles with a Spellbinders Nestabilities Circle, then sponged them with ink.  I then stamped the image in Memento Tuxedo Black ink once, and once or twice again with Ranger Distress Broken China blue ink as a sort of shadow.
I thinned down some black acrylic paint on a small plate and used an old toothbrush to "spritz" the ink across the images.  If you're going to try this, I suggest you give it an experimental spritz across a piece of scrap paper to see what kind of coverage your particular toothbrush gives!  I discovered that ones that are too firm or stiff don't work just as well!
I also sometimes use a small spray bottle for my spritzing as it gives more random, uneven coverage which I prefer on larger areas.
The circles are popped up on an embossed bg.  This set has a number of different phrases which can be mixed and matched, and these two phrases were simply perfert for this occasion!
Thank the Lord for the cherished friends He brings into our lives!
Thanks so much for stopping by today and have a wonderful Wednesday!
Supplies include:
Spellbinders Nestabilities Circles
Spellbinders M-bossibilities So Trendy embossing folder
SU Basic Black card stock
Bazzill card stock
SU Cool Caribbean ink
Memento Tuxedo Black ink
Ranger Distress Broken China ink
Woodware mini butterfly punch
Dew drops (clear)

cherished friend

Hi everyone!!  Lori here again with a card to share with you using Long Stem Silhouettes.  I've found myself reaching for silhouette stamps lately so this set came out just in time!  :)   I love how easy it is to make gorgeous cards with this set!!  For my card I started out stamping the flowers in Versamark ink and embossed with clear embossing powder.  After it cooled, from top to bottom I sponged Memento New Sprout, Bamboo Leaves and Pistachio.  I really like the look and it is fun to play with different colors!!
I hope you enjoy and thanks so much for stopping by today!!

Sending You Warm Thoughts

Hello friends...Cathy here sending you warm thoughts and cozy wishes!  The weather here and across the east coast is turning frigid so I thought I'd share a card that reflects the weather, but is adorable enough that it will warm your heart!

This is just one of the cute snowmen in Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps lineup of adorable snowmen.  It is from the Holly Jolly Christmas clear stamp set, but is also available as a digi.  This jolly fellow was colored with Copic Markers, fussy cut, and popped up on some decorative label dies.  A piece of Echo Park DP was the perfect background along with some snowflake embossing for texture.  The sentiment is from the Cozy Friends stamp set.  Some ribbon, a snowflake punch, and some rhinestones finish the card.  The sketch used is from The Sweet Stop this week and the "spin" was to use a snowman somewhere on your card creation.  Hope I've inspired you to grab a sweet snowman image and send your own warm wishes!

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a blessed week and stay warm!

Hugs,
Cathy

Happy Saturday everyone~
It is Maki and I have one card to show you today. I made this with Long Stem Silhouettes and some pretty designer papers I had.
The long stem image was little washed out from the photo but it is actually dark brown like the twine I used.

Hope you have a wonderful day!

The Sea

Hi there, it's Ceal to share with you today.

The set I chose to showcase is this classic elegance set,  The Sea, its so gorgeous and versatile, and I just love the sentiments. I chose the Mark passage sentiment because this is an encouragement card, and how encouraging it is to know that Jesus is in the same boat you are!

For my background I sponged distress inks in blue, purple and yellow.

Hi everyone!! This is Lori from Smiling While Stamping!!  I'm so excited to be this months guest designer. Thank you so much to Janette and Korin for having me!!!

I couldn't resist this adorable puppy from the new Mini Critters set!!  It reminds me of our dear Cocoa who was with us just about 15 years, so I had to color the collar pink in honor of her!  I added a little drop of Glossy Accents to her nose and a little silver pearl on the tag.  I'm having a lot of fun playing with this great little set. I think next I will be making some Valentines for the little people in our lives!  :)

Thanks so much for stopping by today and I will be back next Tuesday with another post!!

Long Stem Silhouettes

Good Morning! It's Monika here today, bringing you a CAS card using our brand new Long Stem Silhouettes clear stamp set. I love working with silhouette images, because they can be bold or soft... and work great with simple designs.

LongStemSilhouettesCASVellum

I've been drawn to neutral colors, so today I picked cream and dark brown. I stamped the silhouette images in the background, and on top of the vellum piece, which was then heat embossed. Silhouettes images are also great for just filling the 'empty space'... so I stamped it under the circle greeting (Vintage Postcard clear stamp set) for more 'dimension'.

For the border strip, I used Hearts and Stars Scallop Border Die set. The other greeting came from New Beginning clear stamp set.

Thanks for stopping by today,
Monika

Thank Ewe!

Hi there!

Jessica here popping in today to share a card I made with the adorable new Mini Critters little lamb image and the coordinating sentiment from the Cute Critters' stamp set.  The tiny heart is from the Bottom of my Heart stamp set.

My card is uses a simple layout so the focus is solely on the sweet stamp sets that were just recently released.  I added some diamond stickles to the heart and little lamb's fur for a bit of sparkle.

I hope you are enjoying your Saturday and get a chance to do some stamping!

Cocoa's Heart ~

Good Morning! Mary here with Cocoa's Heart for your Thursday Morning view ~ The new releases and the five day mini blog hops were fun and very inspiring. I hope you were able to comment on the blogs to win some prizes! :)

My love for Cocoa goes back before I was on any of SNSS design teams. I fell in love with this sweet mouse at my LSS and the rest is history as the saying goes. I coloured this image using copics and cut him out by hand. I added some heart and scallop border dies to my design. This heart die matches the newly released Bottom of my heart set which creates some awesome "to die for" hearts. I stamped three rows of xoxo's amidst the music notes for some romantic flair.

Have a great day!!!

Materials used:
Stamps: Cocoa's Heart, Bottom of my Heart
Dies: Hearts, Scallop border die
Paper: EP, MME, SU
Inks: Versafine ink, Memento Ink, Copics
Accessories: Seam binding ribbon
