Sparkly Wildflowers

Today, I want to share a card with you that I made using the Dazzling Diamonds technique

I started by coloring directly on my Wildflowers stamp with markers and stamping the image onto white CS.  I then covered the entire oval with my Versamark pad and embossed it with Iridescent Ice ep.  I love how sparkly it is :).  I finished the card off by adding pearls to the flower centers and the corners.

Supplies:

stamp- Wildflowers set
paper- BG Urban Prairie dp, celery and white CS
accessories/tools- SU iridescent ice ep, SU markers, pearls, Spellbinder labels and oval dies, SU celery organdy ribbon, sewing machine, baja breeze ink sponged.

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a wonderful day!  Be sure to stop by again tomorrow for some exciting news about what is coming up here at Sweet N Sassy stamps.

Blessings to Ewe ~

Good Morning! Prim Blessings to Ewe from my blog to yours! I adore this little sheep and the sentiment so appropriate for the image. This set was designed by one of very own Divas Diane Zechman. I love that is comes with an ensemble of images and sentiments that remind me of homespun goodness.

The little wooly sheep is coloured using copics and cut using the decorative plaque dies. I paired this with MME paper and stamped the sentiment onto a die from the Bookmarks & More dies. There you have it! So sweet & simple.

Enjoy your Sunday!
Mary

Materials Used:
Stamps: Prim Blessings
Inks: Memento black, copics, SU Basic Gray
Paper: SU Basic Gray, Whisper White, Pool Party, MME dp
Accessories: SNSS Decorative Plaque die, SNSS Bookmarks & More dies

Sweet Treats

Hi everybody!

I have several sweet treats for you today.   Earlier this month I designed a card called, Frosty Wishes, using the Sweet n Sassy Stamp set, Snowman Soup, designed by Diane Zechman.
While I was creating the card I thought to myself, "self, wouldn't it be fun to create a little serving tray using this set."   Good idea, I think I will!   I hope I'm not the only one who talks to herself.   I have a feeling I'm not {wink}.
I'll be adding a glass inset later (for protection).   For photography purposes I used clear card stock.
I had a small serving tray that I painted with Ranger Distress Crackle Paint (Picket Fence).   I wanted to continue with the homespun feel of my previous card.   I added some little snowballs that I sprinkled with some Diamond Dust.  Then on two of the squares I embossed the snowflakes with metallic platinum sparkle embossing glitter from Wow!.   The other snowflakes are stamped with Memento ink and then a touch of Copic color.   The little snowman cup on the bottom right has a mound of crystal fine "whipped cream" glitter with several candy canes for good measure.    A nice steaming cup of hot chocolate, a few cookies, and a candy cane to dip -- what a nice surprise to find at your door.   Gifts of heart and hand say, "you're special to me, I value your friendship."
How about a nice Christmas card to go along with this tray?   Well, I have just the one for you!   It's another set from our Sweet n Sassy Stamps (SNSS) September Release called, Mod Ornaments.   And the sweet treat?  How about a coordinating die set?  Yep, we got em'.
I missed the SNSS Blog Hop when this set was featured.  I thought you'd like to see what I created using the set.    I used a new product by Wow! to emboss the ornament.  Lot's of sliver sparkle.  Isn't that pretty popped up on the turquoise dp?   All my designer papers are from several years ago.   True to my word, I'm using my scrapes (I'm so proud of myself *giggle*).   And remember when I talked about finding an icon on your papers?  Well, here I go again - I've used several little packages (fussy cut them) and placed them underneath the sentiment circle (which came with the papers).  It doesn't get easier than this dear friends.   A modern theme using Mod Ornaments from Sweet n Sassy Stamps.   Now go create some memories!    I'm going to get myself a nice mug of hot chocolate (she smiles).

Sweet n Sassy Stamps is having a Design Team (DT) Favorites Sale starting October 4th followed by 5 days of DT favorites on the SNSS Blog.   Hope to see you there!   Let's talk about some home decor for your Thanksgiving table.

Until then,
Blessings sweet friends.
Susie ~

Square cards

Hello everyone! I have 2 cards to show you today. Let start with this 5" square Christmas card. Here I used Poinsettia Set and matching die. I had a lot of fun creating the background for this card, actually I made a whole page and just cut a piece for this card, so I have a lot more left to use :) First, I sprayed the watercolor page, then added Gelatos in Banana, Acqua Dolce and Blood Orange, mixed them all, then I used Mister Hueys's Sunset and Estate Green. After that I combined Embossing Paste and Amber Gold Paint and added it to the page using a chicken wire template, then let it dry (it takes few hours). Then I die-cut and piece of Watercolor paper using the Poinsettia die, stamped the Poinsettia image and color the image with Inktense Pencils.
I die-cut a border and label in White, stamped the sentiment in Olive Archival and cut half of the label.
Put all pieces together, add crystal lacquer to poinsettia and sprinkle glitter, then add crystal lacquer to the leaves, finally I added a couple of pearls.

Second card, it is super cute and simple. I used the remaining of the red cardstock, and I made a cute 3.5" square card. Die-cut and stamp wreath in Versamark Ink, add gold embossing powder and heat set. Stamp sentiment in Golden Glitz Delicata. Add a couple of pearls and your mini card is done!!

Hope you like them!
Have a fantastic day

CAS Christmas Wreath

Hi there Ceal here to share with you a quick and easy card I made using the Seasonal Wreaths set along with the coordinating Wreath Die set. The sentiment is from the Christmas Silhouettes set, all  from this month's release. I used the sketch from this weeks CAS challenge at Splitcoast Stampers.

Just be sure to keep the embellishments flat on the front.

Bright Well Wishes...

Good morning!

Jessica here with a bright get well card to share with you today that I made with the adorable Wish You Were there stamp set and coordinating dies along with the fabulous Wishing you Well for the sentiments.  Get Well cards should be bright and cheerful, right?  This one definitely fits the bill!

I was thinking of some pink and yellow lemonade shared among friends when I made this card, thus the color scheme...

I also snuck in one of my favorite Doily border dies embellished with some rhinestones that I colored yellow to match.  I used three baker's twines tied together in a bow to 'tie' in all the colors I used to color the stamped images: buttercream, caribbean, and strawberry.

Have a great rest of your day!
Jessica

Pearly Wreath

Hello, it's Bridget with you today and I'm sharing a card
made with the very versatile set Seasonal Wreaths.
The leaves on this particular wreath seem just perfect for an autumn card, but
I was in the mood to try something different, so I went for a pastel palette
using Andrea Jayne Pampered Pets dp, stitching each panel.
I created it without a sentiment and now I'm trying to decide what occasion to use it for -
what do you think?  I'd love to hear what kind of card you
think this should be, if you've got the time to let me know!
I tried to pick up the soft green in the leaves and the soft pink in the
bow while coloring the image with copics.
The coordinating Wreath Dies make cutting the wreaths and popping them up so easy!
I added little clusters of pearls for a bit of shine and dimension.
I hope you're having a wonderful Sunday,
and thanks so much for taking a few moments to stop by today!

Long Distance Hug

Morning folks!  Today I'm sharing one of my all time fav stamp sets, Vintage Postcard.  I love sets that offer a lot of versatility and this one definitely fits the bill!  With all of the darling elements included in the set, there's no end to the amount of card designs you can create!

For this card, I created a faux postage stamp by using a hand held punch to create the little reverse scallops all around the white paper.  I then added the stamp image and some fun postcard images to the kraft cardstock.  Then I just needed to add some fun designer paper, ribbon, and embellishments!

Enjoy today's card and your weekend!

Snowman Soup...or Cocoa?

Hello Sweet 'n Sassy friends!  It's Cathy here and I have two projects to share with you today.  My favorite beverage when the weather turns a little chilly is hot cocoa...and yes, I've already had a steamy cup of hot chocolate this week as the mornings have been a bit nippy! I decided to use the new Snowman Soup clear stamp set to make a cute little pouch for a packet of hot cocoa.
A tutorial for this cute project can be found HERE.  KaiserCraft papers were stitched to the packet base, and the snowman image was colored with Copic Markers, except for the mug which was paper pieced.  This adorable little packet would be perfect for sending warm wishes to a special friend when the days are chilly and cold.

My second project is a card using Snowman Soup, the same DP, and this week's sketch at The Sweet Stop!

I just love snowman images, and the snowmen in this wonderful stamp set are adorable, fun to color, and perfect for sending snowman hugs !

I hope you've been inspired by your visit today!  Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a blessed day!

Hugs,
Cathy

Mod, Marvelous Ornaments

Hello!  I am so glad you stopped by today.  This is my first post as an official Design Diva and I could not be more excited to be here!  Thank You, Korin for this opportunity, and thanks to the rest of the team for the warm, warm welcome.  I have two cards for you today and they could not be more different.
This first card uses the Mod Ornaments set, as well as the Music Background stamp.

The new Mod Ornaments set is so versatile; by stamping the Music Background on the ornaments and doing some heat embossing, I turn mod ornaments into elegant ornaments. And even better yet, the coordinating dies are the dies that also coordinate with the Vintage Ornaments set.  And that sweet heart on the pink ornament?  That is from the Vintage Postcard set!

This next card uses the Born This Day stamp set and  is CAS and neutral.  I wanted to depict the humble birth of our Lord, so there is no glitz or glamour.

I absolutely adore this sweet, sweet set.  I used a favorite sketch of mine from a challenge blog and colored the image with Copics, using only 4 colors with the exception of Baby Jesus' face. I used the coordinating die and who new cutting out a detailed image could be so easy!?
That's it for me today.  If you would like more details on how I made these cards, you can find them on my blog.
Hugs,
Lee Ann

Lever Window Card...

These Modern Ornaments are super fun to embellish with
pearls and ribbon and cord!
Be sure to order the matching dies and your Christmas Card making process
will be a snap.

Card Inside...
where I used several of the words that are included in the set to create my own
sort of sentiment "Merry Christmas Wishes."

While these dimensional cards are tricky to photograph, they are
certainly fun to make (esp. with an svg file), send, and receive!
The Ornament panel "swings" from front to the inside.
The funky, modern colors are eye catching!

I used some Gold Smooch to "swish" across the words for
some emphasis and glitz!

Thanks for checking out the Sweet N Sassy Blog today!

Christmas wishes

Welcome!  We are in a holiday mood this month...it's never too early to get your Christmas cards done!  Today I have two cards to share.  I started with some sweet Christmas papers and two stamp sets from this month's release.  For my first card I also used Korin's Mug Card Template.

I added one of the images from my Snowman Soup set and some Stickles for a bit of sparkle.

Next I used the Mod Ornaments and Ornaments dies to create this card.

I added several gemstones and some Stickles to the ornaments so this card shimmers as well.
Thanks for popping in and have a great Monday!

♥ Diane

Embossed Wreath

Today I would like to share a card with you using the brand new Seasonal Wreaths set.  Love this set- so versatile!

I embossed the wreath in gold and then die cut it with the new wreath dies.  It is so cool that you can see through them so you can do the stamping first and then line the die up.  I gave the wreath dimension by putting it up on foam tape and accented it with red rhinestones.

Thanks so much for stopping by- have a blessed day!

Snowflake Christmas

Hello! It's Monika here today, bringing you a holiday card using the brand new Christmas Silhouettes clear stamp set. I decided to use the beautiful snowflake image and make a fairly simple card.

BUT, since I can't just make a simple card, I added some 'special touches' like: blue watercolor paint splashes, a tiny piece of cheese cloth underneath the strip (with the greeting),  a strip of book page (underneath the blue strip) with ripped edge... these are really easy additions that can step up your simple cards.

The set has coordinating dies: Christmas Silhouettes Die set, but because mine hasn't arrived yet, I fussy cut the images... you would get something very similar with the matching die...

I used the new sketch from The Sweet Stop, SSS228. Please check out all the fabulous samples from the Sugar Babies and play along with us.

Thank you for stopping by,
Monika

Love Seasonal Wreath ~

Good Morning Sweet'nSassy fans! Mary here with a quick and easy card using
the newly released Seasonal Wreaths! I chose MME papers to match the colours I used on this summer wreath. I combined this layout with the ricrac die from the newly released Bookmarks and More dies. The words are from the MME dp that I trimmed down to create a word sentiment. Pearls are added on the upper right hand corner to balance the card.

Be sure to visit the SNSS store if you haven't seen the latest release and if you didn't hop with the divas this week, you still have time leave comments on each DT member to win some Free stuff!

Have a great weekend!
