more Scribble Flowers!

Good morning!

Today I am sharing two cards using the Scribble Flowers stamp set released earlier this month, along with sentiments from Keep in Touch, Too.  I made 5 CAS cards with these 2 fabulous sets one day and here's the last 2... but I'm not done with this set!

I started with some black & white patterned papers and covered the whole cardfront.  For the first card, I simply stamped the flowers onto colored cardstock.  I absolutely love this look....and it's so easy!

For the second card, I stamped some tiny flowers and a sentiment on a white panel.  Then accented with a big flower...all colored with Copics.

Thanks for popping in and… happy stamping!
Diane

Happy Birthday Fishes

Hello Ya'll!!  Kari here :)

I'm so excited to share this card with you today. What fun stamp sets!! They are called "Birthday Pals" and "Scribble Flowers".  Stop in at the Sweet n' Sassy Stamps website to see these and so many more awesome stamp sets!

With this card, I first made two lines an inch apart to create the boarder for the Happy Birthday sentiment. I masked off the boarder area with a stick note. I cut out a circle and positioned it where I wanted the fish bowl to be. I traced around the circle then removed it. I used a label die cut for the top of the bowl. I traced that as well. I then used the fish, balloon and leaf stamp to finish the first steps of making this card.

Now we get to the fun stuff...Coloring, chalking and markers!! I love coloring and these stamp sets are perfect for that!! There are soooo many to choose from, just stop in at SNSS to find the perfect match for you ;))  (I love them all!)
And there you have it...
I hope you can stop in at the SNSS website to visit all the awesomeness it offers ;)
Have a blessed day !

Summer Fun

Hello! It's Monika here today, with a super SWEET card. I don't want summer to end so let's pretend it's still hot outside... and let's enjoy a cool and refreshing treat!
I used the cute images from Summer Fun Winnie clear stamp set to add to my hand drawn lines. The images and background were water colored with Tom Holtz distress inks.
To make it extra yummy an messy, I splashed orange ink over the dried background... so much fun playing around with your water color.
The greeting is from Keep in Touch Too clear stamp set.
Thank you for stopping by,
Monika

When Words Fail

Hi friends! Kim here today to share a card I recently created using the brand new stamp sets Scribble Flowers and Music to My Ears. First, I need to share that Scribble Flowers may be my favorite set ever...so many design options available! OK, now I can chat about my card...

I stamped the Music to My Ears background stamp on 100 lb. Neenah Solar White Cardstock, and then added color using Distress Inks and a water brush. Setting that piece of cardstock aside to dry, I worked on the flowers, which were stamped on the Neenah paper and colored with Copic Markers.

I created the circle cut out in my card using Spellbinders dies. (The scalloped frame was created using a large Spellbinders scalloped die nested with a plain circle die). The sheet music image was placed behind the circle die cut, the frame was attached to the outer edge of the circle.

The flowers were fussy cut (although there's no need to...this set has a matching die set!) and attached to the card using foam tape. I also added that cute little bee and the sentiment, which is from the Music to My Ears set. I added a tiny bit of shimmer, using a Wink of Stellar glitter pen, and shine, using Glossy Accents, to finish my card.

Happy Crafting!

My Comforter

Hi Everybody!

Lee Ann here, sharing a peek at a brand new Creative Worship Stamp Set!

If there was ever a time for this stamp set, it is now.  In a world gone crazy there is comfort in knowing who we can lean on, who we can run to.  This image is a beautiful reminder that we can cast all of our cares and anxieties on Him because He cares for us.  As I wrote this blog post, I realized how relative this is for me right now as I am experiencing some medical issues.

The image, from the new, My Comforter Stamp Set, is colored with Copics and then fussy cut out.  I paired it with a sentiment from The Future Stamp Set.

I hope I have inspired you to create and I hope that this stamp set is a reminder of who holds you in His hands.

Have a blessed week!

Lee Ann  :)

Best Fishes

Hello Sweet Friends! Julie here showcasing the brand new Birthday Pals Stamp/Die Bundle along with the previously released BareTree Die Set and Tall Grass Die from Sweet ‘n Sassy Stamps.

I love the new Birthday Pals ClearStamp Set- perfect for cards for kids of all ages!

To create this card, I stamped the balloon image as well as the first fish from the Birthday Pals Clear Stamp Set directly on white cardstock using archival black ink and the second fish onto acetate (then laid a piece of white cardstock onto the stamped acetate for the reverse image).

I die cut all of the images out with the coordinating Birthday Pals Dies (part of the Birthday Pals Stamp/Die bundle) and colored each of the fish with water-based markers adding the white dots on the fish and the reflection on the balloon with the Sharpie Extra Fine White Paint Pen.

I cut a circle out of designer paper (I saved the die cut panel for another project), mounted the circle to a piece of white cardstock, stamped the sentiment (curving it a bit) with archival black ink and added the Tall Grass Die cut from green cardstock and the Bare Tree Die cut from pink cardstock (to mimic coral).

I mounted this background panel onto a tangerine card base, added the stamped/die cut fish and balloon with dimensional foam and a few sequins to finish off the card.

I am looking forward to playing with more of the Birthday Pals images- they are so much fun!!

Have a blessed week and thanks for visiting- hugs, sweet friends!

Music to My Ears!

Hi friends, Stephanie here with a pretty clean and simple card for you.  I am using stamps from the new Music to My Ears stamp set.  I stamped the background stamp for the top half of my background and the striped paper is from My Minds Eye.  I used one of the Doily Border dies to break up the background papers and made the flower by cutting 3 circles and spritzing with water and then I crinkled them up, then opened them up and added a brad to the middle.  Love this new stamp set, so many fun ways you can use all the stamps!

It's Release Day

Happy Friday, Sweet 'n Sassy Stampers!
Today is the day we are releasing Birthday Pals, we are so excited for this cute set that goes perfectly with our Scribble Flowers set that was released a couple weeks ago. Korin made a Fabulous card using both of these sets together you can see it in the shop
Here are a couple cards I made using the set.

For the first card I used a yellow base to coordinate with the yellow fish from the Birthday Pals set and the birthday patterned paper. I also found this Bokeh paper that looks like the ocean to pop him up on. I used Copic markers to color the images. I don't have the dies but there are matching dies when you purchase the Bundle.

The second card uses the turtle for the same set Birthday Pals,  to make this one I used a white card base some patterned paper and colored him as well with Copic markers. It's hard to see in the picture but I also added some glossy accents to his toenails and shell.

Birthday Wishes with Winnie

Hello everyone! Today I want to show you a card that's made with the stamps from Summer Fun Winnie  (and a little word from Winnie's Warm Wishes).
I stamped Winnie and the little banner with a black ink on kraft cardstock. I colored her with colored pencils from Derwent (coloursoft). These pencils have a lot of pigment in them so they work pretty well on kraft papers. I used a stencil and white ink for the background.

Faith

I admit it...I'm a bit obsessed with shaker cards lately...I simply can't stop making them! They are so much fun! I've even gone out and bought a whole bunch of shaker filling...sequins, in lots of fun colors and shapes, and chunky glitter and mica chips. Swoon...

Today's card features three stamp sets, Truth Quotes, Landscape Silhouettes, and a bird from the Nature Silhouettes set.

I started by die cutting a card base using a stitched die. I then added clouds just by sponging Distress Ink around a hand cut cloud shape. Once that piece was finished and attached to my card base, I got to work on the shaker part of the card.

I created the sunset by again using Distress Ink, a blending tool, and a die cut circle. Put the yellow ink on the cardstock first, then use the circle to create a mask and add darker ink around the circle...instant sunset!

The bird was stamped directly onto the sunset paper, the lighthouse was stamped on a separate piece of cardstock and then fussy cut. The sentiment is stamped directly on to the piece of acetate that is the front of the shaker portion of the card. I die cut the frame using two nested Spellbinder dies.

To create the shaker card I adhered the acetate piece to the frame, and then added the lighthouse. I build up "walls" around the frame using foam tape, filled the walled in area with mica flakes and glitter, and then used the foam tape to attach the sunset piece. That entire piece was then attached over the cloud card base. Here's a close up of the finished card...
Thanks so much for checking in today! Happy Crafting!!

Kim

Scribble Flowers

Good morning!

Today I am sharing a few CAS cards using the new Scribble Flowers  stamp set released this month, along with sentiments from Keep in Touch, Too.  (I sat down and made 5 cards with these 2 fabulous sets, so check back as I will share the other 2 later this month!)

This one has been sitting on my desk and I love looking at the cheerful yellow card!  I hand cut the images out before I got the dies and I can't wait to use those dies now!!  This set is so fun!  It's a must-have!

Here I cut a wave through my top layer and placed another stamped and colored layer underneath.  The sentiment was curved a little on the acrylic block to follow the wave.

I love how versatile this set is…and so cute! On this one the bee was popped with a dimensional.

Thanks for popping in and… happy stamping!
Diane

Wild flower garden

Hi!! It's Kari here...bringing you a fantastic find at the Sweet n' Sassy Stamps shop!! They are called Scribble Flowers and the Truth Quotes 1 stamp stets. There are sooooo many beautiful creations that can be made from these sets!! I hope you can stop in and check out these stamp sets and much more that is offered. :)

To start this card off I first chose my colors. Then I used the Misti and the Scribble flowers to figure out the design that I wanted to create. I stamped one flower at a time, masked off the flower and then stamped the next flower...repeating the masking and stamping until I reached the desired look I was going for with this card.

I used watercolor crayons, pencils and markers to increase the depth of dimension. After I was done coloring, I stamped the sentiment which was from the Truth Quotes 1 stamp set  in black and placed the ribbon and twine for the finishing touch :)
Come on by the Sweet n' Sassy Stamps webpage to check out more great designs that have been created with the SNSS sets :)
Hope you have a great day!!

Sending Warm Wishes to Cheer You

Happy Saturday Sweet 'n Sassy Friends!

It's Susie here to share another card using the brand new Scribble Flowers clear stamp set. I truly can NOT stop using these stamps!  I love everything about this new set.  These beautiful stamps even have matching dies. They are also new in the shop.  You can buy everything separately or in a bundle.

I fashioned my own flower top using black and white dotted paper and I love that little addition to the bight yellow flower!  Just for fun I used an alternate color for the stems and leaves - a silvery grey.  So this is a bit of a fantasy flower.

Now here is a look at this terrific stamp set:

Have a fantastic day and stay tuned for more great creative team projects.

Scribble Flowers

Good Morning, Sweet 'n Sassy friends!
It's Ceal here to share a card with you today featuring a couple sets that have quickly made it to my favorites list. I can't seem to get enough of Scribble Flowers this set is So versatile, it can be used for card making or bible journaling. I also love the Truth Quotes 1 set too, both of these sets work so well together.

To make my card I started with a white card base, attached some striped designer paper to it and then cut out a smaller panel for my focal piece. I stamped a couple of the images (did I mention the Scribble Flowers has 23 different images!) and masked them and stamped more so  it would appear they are in front of the others.  I colored them with Copic markers and attached some silver metallic thread to panel.

Have a beautiful day!
Ceal

Summer Fun Winnie easel card

Hello! It's Monika here today, with a fun Winnie card. I decided to add an easel fold to my card... which is super easy and it takes your card to a different level.

It is just one fold! It's how easy it is... just score the front panel... you do have to plan the elements, but it is rather fun designing what would work, what would look nice.
I used Summer Fun Winnie and Winnie's Garden clear stamp sets. I stamped the images with Jet Black Archival ink on water color paper and colored them with Prismacolor water color pencils.
The cutting was a bit tedious, but well worth it, don't you think?

The background was die-cut with Hillside Edges die set. You can tell I love using these dies... they are the perfect backdrop to scenes...
The greeting is from Keep In Touch Too clear stamp set.
For the inside, you need something that holds the folded panel up... I used the little punched flower... but even a strip of cardstock (preferably popped up on dimensional tape) would work...

Thank you for stopping by,
Monika
