The Future is Bright

It's Susie here to share a card made with two great new sets.  The saying is
from the brand new Faith Quote Blocks clear stamp set.  There are five
uplifting quotes in this set and each is beautiful.

Here's a look at the whole set:

The other set I used is the Furry Friends clear stamp set.  I focused on the
smaller images to make my background.

I hope you have a creative day.  Be sure to stay tuned for more
projects from our design team

hedgie hi

Good morning!
Today I am sharing this card using the Furry Friends and Chunky Alpha stamp sets.

I don't remember where I saw a card with a similar sketch, but I love it!  I think it will quickly become one of my "go-to" sketches.  This hedgie is quite cute...I masked him and stamped the stump below so he had a resting place.  Then I chose a patterned paper with a sort-of "woodsy" feel to go with him.
Thanks for popping in and… happy stamping!

Faith Quotes

Hello, sweet friends!  It's is hard to believe the month of November is almost at an end which means our Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps 9th year birthday celebration is coming to an end as well!
Here is a sampling of some of the fun we've had this month:

Faith Quote Blocks was one of the new stamp sets released this month.  This quote by C. H. Spurgeon was stamped twice in different colors and some of the parts cut out and popped up for a two-toned sentiment.  Some stitching and die cut hearts were added to finish the card.

The scripture verse from the Faith Quote Blocks set was stamped randomly with Kaleidacolor ink to create a background for this fall card.  Harvest Blessings was one of the stamp sets available during the 20% off all Fall and Christmas stamps week.

Speaking of Christmas…how cute is this pop up box created with stamps from the Holiday Hugs stamp set!

Finally…the little stamp single freebies offered last week were just the icing on the cake!  Leave it to the Lord was popped up on a background created with Color Burst powders and the Skeleton Leaf Background stamp.

We hope you have enjoyed all of the birthday festivities and have taken advantage of all the cool specials and daily deals!  Stay tuned…we have one more fabulous deal for you and there is still time to take advantage of the drawing for a free $99 Shopping Spree!  All who have purchased at least $9 this month will be entered into the drawing and the winner will be announced early in December.

I hope you've enjoyed taking another look at all the fun we have had this past month.
Look forward to more sweetness coming your way in the month of December!

Furry Friends

Hello! It's Monika here today with a pop-up box card.
After checking out the tutorial on Split Coast Stampers, I was able to make this WOW! card. I made the vertical version so it would fit in an A2 envelope.
I love how well it showcases the sweet images from Furry Friends clear stamp set. You can build great scenes with this pop-up design.
I stamped the cute image with Onyx Black VersaFine ink on water color paper and used Tim Holtz distress inks and a paint brush to color them. After fussy cutting the images, I adhered them to the inside tabs.

While it looks difficult and time consuming, it was relatively easy to make. I made a 'master' template so now I can have measurements and a visual of the flat base card right in front of me...
The designer paper added a nice base to the punched out flowers... and that was all I did for embellishments.

It folds flat so it's easy to mail... and look how well the images show up! It only took some 'strategic' arrangement of the images.

Thank you for stopping by,

Happy Thanksgiving!

Hello All!

I would imagine many of you are headed to the kitchen to start all of the Thanksgiving prep for today!  Once today is over, it is full speed ahead on to Christmas!  Although, if you have been to any retail store lately, you would think that Christmas is in a few days!

I was so excited to try this image-Old Fashioned Christmas- along with my MISTI; using the MISTI allowed me to layer different colors on a silhouette image.

I started by inking up the sleigh and horse, making sure to wipe any ink off that got on the trees.  I stamped this using my MISTI.  Once I had this done, I layered different shades of green on the trees and stamped with the MISTI.  I colored the tree trunks with a Distress marker and then, once again, stamped with the MISTI.
I created a mask for the trees and sponged the sky in.  To add to the snowy look, I inked up some of the tree branches with white ink and stamped.  Then final addition to the scene is some spattered white acrylic paint.
A bow, sequins  and fussy cut pine cones from the new Christmas Pine Stamp Set embellish the card.  The sentiment is from the Christmas Joy Stamp Set

That's it for me!
Wishing you all a very Happy Thanksgiving!

Wishing You a Season of Blessings

Hello Sweet Friends!  Julie here to share a card created with the Leaf Silhouettes Clear Stamp Set designed by Korin Sutherland.

I absolutely love the leaf images in this set as well as the sentiments plus there is a coordinating Leaf Silhouettes Die Set that is available individually, or you can save even more money when purchasing the Leaf Silhouettes Stamp/Die Bundle.  The die set includes 10 dies of which 5 are embossing dies and the other 5 cut out the stamped images- what a bargain!

This card is so quick and easy- I used a stencil brush to lightly stencil pumpkin ink onto a piece of white cardstock, heat embossed the sentiment from the Leaf Silhouettes Clear Stamp Set with espresso embossing powder, trimmed the panel and added the hemp twine before mounting onto the espresso card base.

I stamped the leaf images from the Leaf Silhouettes Clear Stamp Set with embossing ink and pulled out some of my older colored embossing powders to heat emboss each leaf.

I cut the leaves out, arranged them using an online sketch challenge and added the hemp twine bow along with a few iridescent sequins to finish off the card.

Quick and easy as well as fun!  I hope I have inspired you to create something this week :-)

Also, don’t forget- this week’s special offer:

This is so easy to add to your collection, for example, if you decide to purchase the Leaf Silhouettes Stamp/Die Bundle at $27.95, you would receive one of these bonus stamps for free!

Thanks for taking the time to visit- hugs and we hope you have a blessed Thanksgiving week!!

Exclusive and Wonderful!

I have a set of cards to share today because I just couldn't make one card when I saw the new stamps that Korin created for this year's SNSS Birthday celebration. They are fantastic and perfect for the CAS set I had in mind.
Best of all - you can get these free! This week's (November 18th-24th) birthday surprise is a FREE Exclusive Stamp with Purchase. THESE STAMPS! Customers will receive 1 of the 4 designs for every $25 they spend. (1 for $25, 2 for $50, 3 for $75 and all 4 for $100).
I used a rectangle die to cut out my top panels (for the inside stitching). Then I ran the same die though with an embossing mat on the card base. I popped the panels up on fun foam and placed them inside the embossing which allows the outside stitching to show. I rounded the corners of my cards to finish them off. I used Copics for my coloring and a white gel pen to add some finishing touches.
My mom has already asked for these for her birthday (I WIN!)
Here they are individually...
We start with Anchor:
Then Leave (I doodled this one and I love, love, love the outcome!):
Then Grace:
Then Banner:
I am in L-O-V-E with these!!
Don't forget to join in on the Birthday fun at the SNSS BLOG all month!
Have a great one and thanks for stopping by!

Christmas Pine

Hi Sweet 'n Sassy friends!
It's Ceal here to share a Christmas card with you, using the Christmas Pine set. My card making style is Clean & Simple and this set is perfect for that.
To make my card I stamped the pine branch in Pine Needles distress ink and used the Walnut Stain marker to color the branch, next I used a water brush to spread out the color to make it look colored. I stamped the pinecones in Walnut stain as well and used the water brush to blend out the color. I used a faux wood embossing folder but only embossed the top half and then ran my bone folder over it to soften the look. To finish the card I added the greeting.

Don't forget it's our birthday month, here is our current promotion, who can resist a complimentary stamp with your order

The promises of God

'The future is as bright as the promises of God', one of the beautiful stamps from the new 'Faith Quote Blocks' stamp set. The messages are so beautiful that you don't have to do a lot to make a great card ;). For this card I stamped one of the quote blocks on a piece of patterned paper and I added a bright background to emphasize the message.
I hope you have a wonderful day and that you're encouraged by the message of this card!

dashing ATC

Good morning!
Today I am sharing this ATC (artist trading card) using my Holiday Hugs stamp set.  I made this for a recent trade with some of my stamping friends.

Are you familiar with ATCs?  They are little pieces of artwork the size of a baseball card (2 1/2" x 3 1/2") which are traded and collected.  They can also be layered onto a card front as a focal point or main image.  Be aware, though...they can be addicting!
Here I popped up one piece of cardstock over another piece the same size.  A channel was cut in the top layer and the penguin has another bit of foam tape under him that slides in the channel.  A penny is on the backside of the foam to give some weight.  He then can slide in the channel, as if he's sledding.

Don't forget that SNSS is having specials all month long.  Here's a sale that ends tomorrow so be sure to check it out!

Thanks for popping in and… happy stamping!

My Friend

Hello Sweet 'n Sassy Friends!  Cathy here with several cards to share with you today.  November is a busy month for Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps…we are celebrating our 9th birthday all month long!  We started our month long festivities with a new release.  My Friend, one of the new stamp sets released, was an addition to the Jesus line of stamps designed by Krista Hamerick.

How sweet is this image!

We are continuing our birthday celebration with Daily Deals on our Facebook page, weekly specials, and a chance to win a $99 Shopping Spree!

This week's special is 20% off all Fall and Christmas stamp sets.

Leaf Silhouettes provided the perfect accents for this fun fall card.  The sentiment is from the Inspirational Word Art 2 stamp set.

Christmas Pine, Music to My Ears, and the Scallop Border Die were used to create this Christmas card on Kraft card stock.

About twenty ladies from church got together yesterday to make Christmas cards.  Since some of the ladies had never stamped before I kept the card designs pretty simple.  This card featuring Winter Blessings was one of the cards we made.  The sentiment is from the Poinsettias & Candles stamp set designed by Diane Zechman.

Be sure to take advantage of the Fall & Christmas Special…with every purchase of $9 or more, your name will be entered for the $99 Shopping Spree!

Thanks so much for stopping by…be sure to stop back often to check out future specials and see more fabulous projects by the creative team!
